TAYLORD SUCCESS
What I Wear on Camera
You asked. So here's the closet.
Let me be straight with you.
These are clothes. They did not pass through the 4 F's. They aren't organic, they aren't a wellness claim, and I'm not going to dress them up as one — a good deal of this is polyester and I'd rather say so.
What they are: what I actually put on to stand in front of a camera. They photograph well, they hold up through a full filming day, and they didn't cost a fortune. That's the whole promise.
Take what serves you. Leave the rest.
THE CLOSET
What's actually in rotation
Not a lookbook. The pieces I put on again and again because they work.
The Foundation
WHAT GOES ON FIRST
Clean lines under everything else. These are the pieces that make a layer sit right.

WHAT DOES THE WORK ON CAMERA
A layer gives a shot structure. It's also what I reach for when I want to look put together in about four seconds.

THE LAST TEN PERCENT
Small things. They're the difference between dressed and finished.
A NOTE ON THIS ONE
What I can't link
The sleeveless sweater in this photo is on the list above. The leggings and the heels aren't — they're older pieces I love, and they're no longer available.
I could have left this photo off the page. But you'd have seen it somewhere and asked, and I'd rather answer the question before you have to ask it.
This page only works if I tell you the truth about all of it — including the parts I can't sell you.
BEHIND THE CAMERA
The two pieces of gear I use
People ask about this almost as often as the cardigans. It's not a studio. It's these.
- Tabletop ring light with overhead stand and phone holder
- Wireless lavalier microphone — good audio matters more than good video. Every time.
The rest of what I use — the kitchen, the pantry, the gathering table — lives on the main page.

A NOTE ON FIT
I'm 5'9". Sizing runs differently brand to brand, so check the size chart on each listing rather than assuming my size is yours. And wear what makes you feel like yourself — that reads on camera more than any fabric does.
